The phone is almost identical to the HTC Touch 3G but from the fact that it uses the Android operating system instead of Windows mobile.

The HTC Tattoo phone has a 2.8" 240 x 320 pixel touchscreen display, a 3.2 megapixel camera, built-in GPS and a digital compass, 3.5G support, WiFi and microSD expandable memory.

The HTC Tattoo has a media player capable of playing MP3, AAC, MPEG4 and Windows Media. The phone also comes with a 3.5mm audio socket and a built-in FM radio.

For communications with your contacts the phone uses TouchFLO and HTC have managed to modify Android to give it a unified way of tracking communications with contacts. The phone comes a multiple of Google apps such as Google Maps.

Like all smartphones the Tatto is not exactly sleek. It measures 106 x 55 x 14mm and weighs 113 grams. Nevertheless, the device is relatively small compared with other similar devices.

The battery can last just under 6 hours talktime on 3G and has 21 days standby time, which makes it quite practical business phone.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7225 528 MHz processor and has 256 MB of RAM which is comparable to other phones on the market.

There are many Android phones on the market these day so it waits to be seen if this device can capture a good share of the market
